Response Point - Aastra Gateway issues

We just had a customer with an Aastra Response Point system that complained about the voice quality (using Analog lines).  Their RP VAR had disappeared so they found AMCC.

Wesbell, who no longer carries the Aastra Response Point system, shared that they do not recommend the Aastra analog gateway with the Aastra system - they recommend the Quintum gateway.

We installed a new Quintum gateway in place of the Aastra gateway and - tada - the voice quality issues were fixed.
